Drawing from the extraordinary pool of talent available in Music City, the directors have created a show that not only emphasizes the beauty of the score, but also reflects the diversity of influences that make Nashville so much more than a country music town. Sung in the natural voices of prominent local rock and pop performers, with contributions from members of the opera and theater communities, this production does not hinge on Broadway traditions, but instead, illuminates the emotionally potent content of the story and score.
